It is a mine or spiritual treasures, arranged for every day of the year, and clothed in language of great beauty. A. J. Russell, the editor, remarks:
"Not one person, but two, wrote this book. They elected to remain anonymous and to be called 'Two Listeners.' Their claim was that their message had been given to them by the living Christ Himself. My simple task has been to prepare God Calling for publication."
